Jai Bhim ! Sir , I want to make one request , is there any possibility that these books and complete literature of Babasaheb can be translated to Hindi . Because English is not the lang. which can be understood by most of the Bahujans . So , it will be gr8 if all these books can be translated to Hindi , it will accelerate the awareness and knowledge among the Bahujans about there History and about the literature of Babasaheb . So , once if it is done , more and more of our people will understand what’s wrong and what’s good , and only then they/we can be united too (after being educated). So , I thing there is a urgent need that all the literature being provided in Hindi , if we want the Revolution to happen at the Mass Scale .

लेख, चर्चा आणि प्रतिक्रिया वाचल्या. एक गोष्ट जाणवली ती म्हणजे लेख आणि चर्चा बुद्धवादाकडे (Buddhism) अधिक झुकते आहे. याउलट सिद्धार्थ गौतमास झालेले होते ते दर्शन होते. इथे दर्शन हा शब्द प्रत्यक्ष अनुभूती (=experience) या अर्थी वापरला आहे. दर्शनामुळे यथार्थ ज्ञान झाल्याने लोक त्यास बुद्ध म्हणू लागले. याअर्थी सिद्धार्थाने पुढे सांगितलेले (आणि विस्तारलेले) तत्त्वज्ञान बौद्धदर्शन म्हणून प्रख्यात झाले.
दर्शन हा शब्द वैदिक तत्त्वज्ञानांच्या बाबतीतही योजण्यात येतो. वैदिक परंपरेत सहा दर्शने आहेत. पूर्वमीमांसा, उत्तरमीमांसा (=वेदांत), सांख्य, योग, न्याय आणि वैशेषिका. यांस षड्दर्शने हा शब्द प्रचलित आहे.
वैदिक मतानुसार ‘एको सत् विप्रा: बहुधा वदन्ति’. त्यामुळे प्रत्येक दर्शन हे भगवत्प्राप्तीचा मार्ग आहे. अमुक एक दर्शन खरे आहे बाकी सारी खोटी असं वैदिक लोक म्हणंत नाहीत. मात्र दर्शनाप्रमाणे साधना केल्यास अनुभूती यावी अशी अपेक्षा आहे. हे दर्शन झालेल्या व्यक्तीस (स्त्री वा पुरुष) तत्त्वदर्शी म्हणतात. सध्याच्या काळी हिंदूधर्मियांत त्यांना संत अशी संज्ञा आहे.
तत्त्वदर्शी व्यक्तीकडून साधनेस मार्गदर्शन होते. या मार्गदर्शकाला गुरु असं म्हणतात तर मार्गक्रमकास शिष्य. ही गुरुशिष्य परंपरा वैदिक आणि बौद्ध दोन्ही धर्मांत आढळून येते.
तर मग बौद्धदर्शनप्रक्रिया कशी आचरणात आणावी? त्याकरिता योगाभ्यासाची आवश्यकता आहे. वैदिक परंपरेनुसार प्रत्येक तत्त्वदर्शी हा योगी असतोच. योगाशिवाय तत्त्वदर्शन होत नसतं. इथे योग म्हणजे यम, नियम, आसन, प्राणायाम, प्रत्याहार, धारणा, ध्यान आणि समाधी यांचा सांगोपांग अभ्यास (=सराव=नैपुण्य) अभिप्रेत आहे. बौद्धदर्शनात काही अंगे गाळून (कदाचित) थेट ध्यान आणि समाधीवर उडी मारली असेल, मात्र अंतिम साध्य समाधी (=निर्वाण) हेच आहे.
वैदिक परंपरेनुसार भक्ती, कर्म आणि ज्ञान हे मार्गही भक्तियोग, कर्मयोग, ज्ञानयोग असे संबोधले जातात. षड्दर्शनांतील योगाखेरीज इतर दर्शने आकळणे योगात पारंगत असलेल्यांना सुलभ जाते.
भगवान गौतम बुद्धांबद्दल एक कथा सांगितली जाते. एकदा प्रवचनाच्या वेळी बुद्धांनी एक कमळ हातात उचलून वर करून दाखवले. आणि विचारले की कोणला काही कळलं का ते सांगा. कोणीही काहीही बोलले नाही. कोणालाच काही समजत नव्हतं काय चाललंय ते! शेवटी एक अर्धशिक्षित भिक्षू जराशी हसला. तो काही प्रकांडपंडित वगैरे नव्हता. लोकांचा त्याला गराडा पडला. काय ते कळू दे आम्हाला म्हणून. तो एव्हढंच म्हणाला की, ‘प्रत्यक्ष गौतम बुद्धांना जे सांगायचं नाहीये ते मी कसं सांगू?’ यावरून गौतम बुद्धांत आणि त्या भिक्षूत यौगिक रहस्याची देवाणघेवाण झाली असणार हे उघड आहे. भगवान बुद्ध स्वत: उच्च कोटीचे योगी होते. तसेच नाथपंथातले अनेक सिद्धांचे ग्रंथ तिबेटी बौद्धदर्शनांत प्रमाण मानले गेले आहेत. इथे टिचकी मारून पहा.
सारांश : बौद्धदर्शन आणि इतर वैदिकदर्शनांची प्रक्रिया एकच आहे. त्यामुळे बौद्ध धर्म वेगळा न मानता वैदिक परंपरेचाच एक भाग मानवा. या मताचा मी आहे.
आता प्रश्न पडतो की बौद्ध किंवा वैदिक धर्म आचरणार्यांचा हेतू कोणता. अंतिम ध्येय गाठणे हा असेल तर प्रश्नच नाही. कारण एको सत् विप्रा: बहुधा वदन्ति. मात्र ऐहिक उन्नतीपुरता सीमित हा असेल तर मग पंचाईत होते. मग वादविवाद सुरू होतात. त्यातून काही निष्पन्न होईलसं वाटत नाही.
बुद्धपूर्व वैदिक दर्शनांत आणि बौद्ध दर्शनात अनेक साम्यस्थळे दाखवता येतील. मात्र तरीही एक तात्त्विक प्रश्न उरतोच. ज्ञानोबामाउलींनी ज्ञानेश्वरीत एके ठिकाणी म्हंटलंय :
जे उन्मनीचे लावण्य | जे तुर्येचे तारुण्य ||
अनादि जे अगम्य | परमतत्त्व ||
हे परमतत्त्व म्हंजे ब्रह्मन्. तर असे काही तत्व बौद्धदर्शनात आहे का? बौद्धमतानुसार (बौद्धदर्शन नव्हे!) जीव आणि जगत यांना जोडणारा दुवा अस्तित्वात नाही. दोन्ही आपापल्या परीने स्वतंत्र आणि स्वयंभू आहेत. मात्र तरीही महाशून्य नावाच्या (जिवाच्या?) अवस्थेत जगताच्या जाणीवेचा लोप होतो. तसं असल्यास महाशून्य हे परमतत्त्व म्हणावयास हरकत नाही.
मात्र माझा बौद्धमताचा अभ्यास किंवा बौद्धदर्शनाचा सराव नसल्याने हा प्रश्न खुला सोडू इच्छितो. बाकी कोणाला याचा वेध घ्यायचा असेल तर एखाद्या बौद्ध तत्त्वदर्शीचे (निव्वळ पंडिताचे नव्हे!) मार्गदर्शन घेणे इष्ट.
